The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Terminal Two was one of the largest outstation Maple Leaf Lounges in the United States and a far nicer version than it’s New York / New Jersey Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge counter parts. Unfortunately, the lounge had seen better days on our pass through and had suffered from the low rent touches before it transitioned completely over to Los Angeles Terminal Six. The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Calgary International Airport is the sole Maple Leaf Lounge in existence at the Calgary Airport. As the only lounge, it does triple lounge duty as the domestic, transborder and international lounge for all Air Canada and Star Alliance Departures. Despite this responsibility, it does an excellent job at living up to expectations and offers a very good lounge experience with upscale touches. Review: Air Canada… Read More

Review: Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport – Domestic Gates, Montréal Quebec,… Read More

Our Air Canada Business Class International Departure had us departing through Air Canada’s top lounge offering on the West Coast. Air Canada doesn’t offer an international lounge at this level west of Toronto, making this location among the most exclusive that the Vancouver International Airport has to offer. Since many of these flights connect onwards towards other destinations in Canada, it’s fitting that they have a decent lounge. The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge Vancouver Domestic is a pretty solid domestic lounge with decent windows, comfortable loungers and decent snacks at the right times. It represents a worthy lounge in the Vancouver… Read More

After a gross 4:30 AM wake up, we opted for the always-pleasant Aerocar car service to the Vancouver Airport. Air Canada offers a fulsome lounge network across eleven different Canadian Cities. With Canada being such a broad country, it’s admirable that they take care of their customers given that their flights are in much smaller capacity than our neighbours to the south. On a visit to the Prairies, I stopped by the local Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge which has to be among the smallest in the overall system. If you… Read More

The first leg of our around the world adventure was on our home carrier Air Canada. Since there is no first class on Star Alliance from our home airport in Vancouver, we had a short hop down to Los Angeles where the real fun was to start. This post is one chapter in our Around the World in Star Alliance First Class via China, Thailand and Spain. This trip was booked using… Read More
