My Air Canada Business Class flight was offered on Air Canada Boeing 787–9 aircraft. This aircraft offered Air Canada’s best Business Class seat that is typically used on international flights. This cabin is marketed as Air Canada Signature Class on some domestic routes. If you’re lucky, you’ll get the opportunity to try out this cabin on a regular domestic route, for around the same price as a regular business class fare. Read… Read More

My final flight on this trip was on Air Canada’s smallest Airbus 300 series aircraft; the Airbus 319. Air Canada only has a few of these Airbus 319’s in the fleet, so it marked a special occassion to have flown them. Despite the smaller size, Air Canada has maintained the same size of business class for this size of cabin. Let’s take a look at what a short haul business class flight looks… Read More

Air Canada has recently acquired their newest fleet addition; the brand new Airbus 220-300 series aircraft. The aircraft were designed by Bombardier aircraft in Quebec, Canada before being acquired by Airbus and rebranded as the 220 series aircraft. With Air Canada ordering 45 Airbus 220 – 300 series aircraft for their smaller jet routes, it seemed like a great time to try them out in Air Canada regional business class. Review: Air… Read More

The Airbus 320-2, the backbone of Air Canada’s narrow body fleet, was used for today’s trip. With the Airbus 320 being the most popular model, Air Canada has been operating the Airbus 320 family of aircraft across the nation for nearly 35 years. In keeping with the aircraft’s age, the Business Class experience with Air Canada is likewise a little antiquated. Let’s check how the product has held up over time… Review:… Read More

Air Canada’s Airbus 320 family has been flying across the country for almost thirty five years with the Airbus 320 being the most popular version of this aircraft. Our trans continental flight from Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau to Vancouver International was on Airbus 320-2 equipment today. It featured traditional recliner seats. We were well fed as we travelled across Canada, on our last flight home from India. While not the most exciting of business class products, this configuration is the back bone of the Air Canada business class domestic fleet. Our Air Canada Business Class International Departure had us on one of the newest Air Canada configurations in the Boeing 787-8 long haul aircraft. It featured the newest Business Class reverse herringbone suites; which are incredibly private and comfortable for working. Despite a mostly comfortable flying experience, and some somewhat absent service, unfortunately, our flight was set by a two hour delay that made us mis connect. Our travel to Sydney, Australia tonight had us departing exceptionally late in the evening with a departure time of 11:40 PM. There is a certain gap in time when such a flight doesn’t qualify as an evening flight or an over night flight. With this gap, there isn’t much you can do to fill the time other than spend time in a lounge. We aimed to visit the Plaza Premium Lounge which… Read More

Our flight home was pretty much a copy of our flight out. While the Air Canada medium haul service is never super exciting, it is usually quite consistent and predictable. We were fortunate to have an economy class fare that was upgraded into Business Class with upgrade credits to land ourselves into Business Class. This post is one chapter on our trip to Kenora, Lake of the Woods, Ontario, Canada. This trip… Read More
